Who we are and our mission

Flat Barcelona is a family business founded in 2002 by Fiorella Coello. Owner of few apartments she started a project of renovating and renting them out short term for tourists as an alternative to small and expensive hotel rooms.

The project quickly proved a popular concept and Fiorella started the process of expanding the company with more apartments, opening for the opportunity to welcome more guests to her holiday homes in Barcelona.

Today Flat Barcelona is a specialist in operating privately owned apartments for short term rentals centralised in Barcelona. We are a small and very committed team aiming at always improving the experience of our guests, using our ‘owner direct’ model to ensure total satisfaction.

Being one of most popular cities in Europe to visit short term, Barcelona’s number of visitors is constantly growing. The people who come here from all parts of the world to be marvelled by the city’s many attractions and spectacular sights need a place to stay, a comfortable base from where they can enjoy the city. We provide them the opportunity to live the city like locals, accommodated in real, self catering and complete apartments located in residential buildings among Barcelonian neighbours.

Barcelona is a city of adventure, great diversity and an infinite variety of activities. It is city, sea and mountain combined in one, a very interesting historical and cultural base and a city characterised by its truly sociable, international and friendly atmosphere. At Flat Barcelona we want to get the Barcelona we love across to you while you are here.

To enjoy it we believe the key is to have a comfortable homely base from which to do so and a friendly local contact.
